Brent Kahlen - Director, CEO
Mr.Kahlen is a business restructuring financial consultant with Valcor. He was born and raised in Orange County and has a radio engineering background. Brent also has extensive radio broadcasting and sales experience in both LA and Orange County radio, most notably with Los Angeles Radio Station KROQ. Brent has been the voice on a multitude radio and television commercials and has organized and presented fund raisers for non profit organizations such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association, Hemophilia Foundation and Red Cross.
Mac Burke - Director, CFO
Squire “Mac” Burke is the owner of one of Orange County’s largest independently owned income tax and bookkeeping businesses, and is also an Enrolled Agent. He was only fifteen when he first heard the Beatles song, “Love Me Do,”, and from there it didn’t take him long for music to become a pivotal factor in his life. Mac is pleased to be associated with StarTree107, Inc., KOCI Radio as Director/CFO.
Marie Case - Director
Marie Case has developed marketing plans for media companies, travel products and a variety of lifestyle brands. She has worked on the agency side as an Account Director and Planner and on the client side as Marketing Director and is now principal of Case Communications. She is a member of the Commodores Club of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce, was Chair and still serves on the Chamber Board and is past president of the American Advertising Federation Orange County. She is a lifelong music lover and lives in Newport Beach.
Lani Hinkle - Director, Secretary
Long time Orange County resident and radiophile, Lani Hinkle joins the KOCI Board of Directors as Secretary. She has administrative and managerial experience from previous careers in the San Francisco Financial District, a local publication company as an artist, managing a veterinary hospital, earning her certification as a chef, and volunteering as a culinary teaching assistant at a local high school. Her volunteer work at KOCI, since its debut on the air, includes co-hosting The Sunday Brunch Show, voice-overs, staff support, and events coordinator.
